Information Technology
Mission

Information Technology, a discipline within the Business Department, Division of Business, Math and Social Sciences, offers five distinct programs. All programs provide a basic background in hardware, applications, networking, and Internet concepts.

The Information Technology Program strives to prepare the student for a career involving business programming, network administration, web development, or computer support. Additionally, the program provides a solid foundation for future study towards a four-year degree.

What makes IT at Bergen so special?

Information Technology students need to develop a broad foundation in concepts that will help them remain adaptable in a changeable marketplace. The INF program at Bergen Community College addresses current and long-term trends in the marketplace. A number of INF courses are available over the Internet as part of the College's distance learning programs.
