Tutors |
Peer and professional tutors are ready to help BCC students who speak English as a second language. Tutors assist with reading, writing, grammar, and speech.

| Appointments |
You can stop in the ELRC or call on the phone, 201-612-5292, to make an appointment for the current or the following week. Each appointment is one hour long.

| Drop-in Tutoring |
You can come to the ELRC at any time and ask if a tutor is not busy. If so, you can be tutored for that hour. The best times for this are 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon or 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

| Canceling |
Call 201-612-5292 the day before your appointment to cancel it. You only need to say your name, the day and time of the appointment, and the tutor's name. You can leave a message on the voice mail at any time.
If you do not call, then you are taking tutoring time away from another student who needs help.
If you miss three appointments, you cannot make any more appointments until the next semester. However, you can come for drop-in tutoring.
