Evaluation Visit Schedule

A Message from Academic Vice President Porter:

Dear Members of the BCC Community,

As many of you are aware the Middle States Visitation Team is scheduled to be on our campus and collecting their information for the report on Monday, March 27, 2006 and Tuesday, March 28, 2006. During those two days the team will be requesting interviews with BCC faculty, staff, and administration. In addition, the team chair has requested that specific small group meetings be scheduled and specific open meetings be scheduled so that all members of the BCC community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please see the attached team schedule.

Between 3:00-4:00PM in Room A-104 an open meeting for non-faculty has been scheduled.

Between 4:00-5:00PM in the Ciccone Theater an open meeting for faculty has been scheduled.

Finally, the “Exit Report” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, 2006, between Noon and 1:00 PM in the Ciccone Theater. At that time the team will be making their oral report to the College. A summary of the written report will be presented but the accreditation recommendation to the commission will not be shared. The College will have full opportunity later to respond to the team report before it is considered by the Commission later in the summer. The oral report is an internal institutional event and external parties should not be present, nor will the event be recorded.

All members of the college community are welcome to attend the Oral Report.
