MEDICAL PLANS
Bergen Community College provides their employees and eligible dependents, at no cost, several health care options shown below two months from their employment start date. Any exceptions are noted below.

NJ Direct 10/15 PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
Both plans are administered for the state by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. The employees may choose doctors in and out of the network. It is a nationwide plan and you do not need to select a Primary Care Physician (PCP).
- Delta Dental PPO plus Premier of New Jersey (Coverage for employee plus one dependent)
Over 179,000 participating dental offices nationwide participate with the national Delta Dental system, although you may choose any fully licensed dentist to render necessary services. Maximum benefit may be derived by utilizing the services of a participating dentist. Coverage begins on the first day of the month preceding two full months of employment.
