Work Study/ On-Campus Student Employment

The Cooperative Education and Career Development Center handles the paperwork for Federal Work Study/on-campus employment (a form of financial aid). The amount of the work study award will be listed on the Award Letter from Financial Aid. You DO NOT need to go to Financial Aid unless you have questions regarding your financial aid award.

New Students who never worked at BCC:
Visit the Cooperative Education & Career Development Center located in C-100 to view on-campus positions and process paperwork. You will be asked to complete an I-9 and W-4 forms before beginning work on campus. In order to complete these documents you will need certain documentation. Students typically bring an original birth certificate, original social security card, original driver’s license, and/or BCC ID card (for additional information please contact the Cooperative Education and Career Development Center at 201-447-7171 or CECD@bergen.edu with Work Study in subject line).
Students returning to work at same department
Visit the Cooperative Education & Career Development Center located in C-100 to process paperwork. You will be asked to complete an I-9 and W-4 forms before beginning work on campus. Students who do not want to utilize their work study award and work on campus:
Simply contact the Cooperative Education and Career Development Center at 201-447-7171 or CECD@bergen.edu with Work Study in subject line) indicating that you will not be needing assistance for on campus employment.
