Student Health Insurance

The student health insurance is provided by Bollinger and is available to all students. A PDF copy of the Bollinger Insurance plan can be dowloaded. You are advised to read the policy carefully. Please familiarize yourself with the benefits and limitations. The college is not responsible for any expenses, which exceed the limits of policy payments. If you have any questions about the policy, please call the insurance company directly.

The State of New Jersey requires that all full time students and all Nursing, Health Profession, Dental Hygiene and Veterinary Technician students carry medical insurance which includes hospitalization. No Nursing, Health Profession, Dental Hygiene, or Veterinary Technician student will be allowed to enter a clinical site without proof of insurance.

The cost of the school health insurance is included on the tuition bill for all full time students. However, if you are currently insured by another insurance plan, you may waive this coverage. In order to withdraw from the plan, you must show proof of coverage, and obtain a waiver card from the Bursar's Office (Room A-229) or the Health Services Office (Room HS-100). Please be aware that there is a deadline for submitting waivers.

Part time students may purchase coverage by directly contacting the insurance company or the Health Services Office for an application.

Proof of policy ownership and/or claim forms can be obtained in the Health Services Office in Room HS-100 or by downloading the information.
