Our Day 
Our Daily Schedule *Times are approximate
7:30 – 9:15 a.m. Arrival Time and Free Play
Help your child to place her/his belongings in their cubby. Classes combine in one room.
*9:15-9:30 a.m. Clean Up Time
Groups separate to their own classrooms after all of the staff and most of the children arrive.
*9:30- 9:45 a.m. Circle Time
Stories, songs, we discuss our day.
*9:45-10:15 a.m. Snack Time We provide milk, you provide a healthy snack.
*10:15-11:30a.m. Learning Center Activities
Activities will be planned each month to provide opportunities for a hands-on and meaningful study of a topic.
Additional activities may be provided by student teachers under the classroom teacher’s supervision. All activities will be child centered, age appropriate and reflect themes in science, math, social studies, language arts, creative arts and music.
Be sure your child wears play clothes to school. We like to get messy!
*11:30-11:45 a.m. Clean Up Time
*11:45 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Outdoor Play
The amount of time we spend outdoors will vary with the weather but only rain will keep us indoors. Outdoor activities are an important part of our curriculum. Always send your child to school in clothing suitable for outdoor play in all seasons. Sneakers or rubber soled shoes are very important for safety on the playground.
*12:15- 12:30 p.m. Wash Up Time
*12:30-1:00 p.m. Lunch Time
Please remember our natural foods policy. The staff can not heat or otherwise prepare meals.
1:00-3:00 p.m. Nap Time
We rest on cots. With lights out we listen to soft music. Your child must have a small sheet and blanket clearly labeled with her/his name. These must be washed once a week.
*3:00-3:30 p.m. Wake Up Time
Groups once again combine for activities indoors or out.
3:30-3:45p.m. Afternoon Snack Time
3:45-5:30 p.m. Free Play
The center closes no later than 5:30 p.m.
