Welcome to the Institutional Effectiveness Branch of The Center!

The Institutional Effectiveness branch of The Center has as its mission to facilitate and support Strategic Planning, Institutional Renewal Activities, and Assessment.

The assessment initiative began in fall 2005 and Bergen is now concluding the second cycle of assessment.   

A new strategic planning initiative has started.  This fall's activities are focusing on revisiting Bergen's current Mission and Vision statements.  It is expected that by the end of the spring 2008, the revised ststements will have been approved by the Board of Trustees and disseminated to the college community.  

Institutional renewal is concerned with finding a better way to do what we do.  Bergen is employing Business Process Analysis and Redesign to accomplish institutional renewal.
