Bergen Community College Foundation Announces Appointment of New Officers and Members to its Board of Directors
The Bergen Community College Foundation recently announced the appointment of new officers and members to the Foundation Board of Directors for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. The board is comprised of community leaders from the public and private sectors who work closely with the College to develop fundraising opportunities to meet the needs of the institution.
The Foundation elected the following new officers to the Board of Directors:
Robert Hekemian Jr., Chairman
Paul A. Meyer, Vice Chairman, Special Events
Dale A. Creamer, Vice Chairman, Membership
Seta Albrecht, Vice Chairwoman, Major Gifts and Special Projects
G. Jeremiah Ryan
President, Bergen Community College
Anthony Persico, Treasurer
V. Peter Traphagen Sr., Assistant Treasurer
Ira Kaltman, Secretary
Gordon Hamm, Assistant Secretary
Robert D. Boyle, Foundation Historian,
Robert Dill, Immediate Past Chairman
The Bergen Community College Foundation announced the appointment of the following new members to the Board of Directors:

The BCC Foundation is a separately incorporated foundation whose mission is to raise funds to support student scholarships, faculty and staff development, construction, and other special projects and programs. Since its 1982 inception, the Foundation has received over $14 million in total contributions.
Bergen Community College is a public two-year coeducational college, enrolling nearly 17,000 students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs. More than 15,000 students are enrolled in non-credit, professional courses through the Division of Continuing Education, the Institute for Learning in Retirement, the Philip J. Ciarco Jr. Learning Center, located at 355 Main Street, Hackensack, and Bergen at the Meadowlands, located at 1280 Wall Street West, Lyndhurst.
