Bergen Community College Foundation Hosts 25th Annual Medallion Awards Dinner, November 20, 2009
Daniel M. Foley, Senior Managing Director of Studley Commercial Real Estate Advisors to be honored

The Bergen Community College Foundation will honor Daniel M. Foley, of Mahwah, Senior Managing Director of Studley Commercial Real Estate Advisors and member of the College’s Foundation Board of Directors, with the 2009 Medallion Award of Merit for Corporate Responsibility at the 25th Annual Medallion Awards Dinner on November 20, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton in Woodcliff Lake. The evening’s activities will include an awards dinner, silent auction and 50/50 raffle to help raise funds to support scholarships and educational programs for Bergen Community College students.
“The Foundation is proud to honor Mr. Foley for his corporate and philanthropic efforts to support initiatives between the community and the College,” said Laurie Francis, Executive Director of the College’s Foundation. “Mr. Foley has contributed to worthy College endeavors in the areas of civic relations, academic connections and special programs. In 2008, he donated $25,000 to the College’s Civic Engagement Fund that supports service learning, Fifth Friday Forums, the Suburban Policy Center and faculty performing civic-related research.”
Mr. Foley became a member of Studley Commercial Real Estate Advisors in March 2004, when the company he co-founded, Strategic Alliance Partners, LLC, partnered with Studley. He has represented many prominent companies including Eisai Medical Research Inc., Coca-Cola Enterprises and the Donna Karan Company.
In 1983, Mr. Foley began his real estate career at CB Richard Ellis, a global leader in commercial real estate services. Mr. Foley has received many awards including ProLogis’ “Broker of the Year” award for the largest lease transaction in 2005. He was selected by Real Estate New Jersey as a Commercial Real Estate Allstar from 2007 to 2009.
Mr. Foley has participated in many charitable endeavors including The New York City Coat Drive and has volunteered at the Apostle House in Newark.

The BCC Foundation is a separately incorporated foundation whose mission is to raise funds to support student scholarships, faculty and staff development, construction, and other special projects and programs. The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of community leaders from the public and private sector who work closely with the College to develop fundraising opportunities to meet the needs of the institution. Since its 1982 inception, the Foundation has received over $14 million in total contributions.
Bergen Community College is a public two-year coeducational college, enrolling nearly 17,000 students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs. More than 15,000 students are enrolled in non-credit, professional courses through the Division of Continuing Education, the Institute for Learning in Retirement, the Philip J.
