Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program that the Tutoring Center has added to its services. SI is a pro-active academic assistance program that focuses on historically difficult courses identified by their high rates of D, F, or withdrawal marks. The emphasis in SI is on helping students acquire and refine learning skills essential to master course content. SI sessions are led by tutors, SI Leaders, who are trained to help students become independent learners. SI Leaders will attend such courses and hold SI sessions at least twice a week outside of the class periods. Please check our bulletin board (by L-125) to see which courses we are offering SI in this semester.
Check homepage periodically for new SI Session subjects, days and times.
