The QueryBuilder report, SERVYRS.WIS, has been written to produce the Human Resources Years of Service Report. This report lists employees by five year increments alphabetically, including years of service, name, SSN, title and original date of hire by Bergen Community College.

To run the report, you will need to log into Colleague using "FrontviewGUI" as you normally do. When Colleague has loaded, select OPTIONS/QUERYBUILDER from the horizontal tool bar above your screen.

This is the main QueryBuilder screen. Click on the "OPEN" box.

The QueryBuilder report, is located in the following directory, which is your default directory for storing QueryBuilder reports:
C:\datatel\frontvw\query\querysav

All of your stored queries will appear in the window on the left hand side of the screen. The QueryBuilder report, SERVYRS.WIS will appear there, too. Double click on it to open it.

Notice that there are several buttons in the "Output to" section located in the lower left hand side of the screen. By clicking on these buttons, you can control where your reports prints!

Clicking "Screen" will print it to your monitor.
Clicking "Host Printer" will print it to your Colleague printer.
Clicking "Local Printer" will print it to a printer at your desk, if you have one.

When you have chosen a local to print your report TO, it is time to run the report. Click on the OK button.

You will be prompted to enter the classification that you wish to EXCLUDE from this report (employment class). For example, if you type 10 at the prompt, all adjunct faculty members will be excluded from the report.
