Just a Jersey Guy 2 - More Altano’s Tales... Friday, April 29, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. - Ciccone Theatre Tickets: $15; $12 - students & seniors (65); $10 - BCC
Returning triumphant from his sold-out performance last spring, Brian Altano takes to our stage again with four more tales of New Jersey folk and their foibles. His stories are enchanting and exhilarating, a thousand fables spun into a rich tapestry of local color. Altano has recounted his original tales in Italy, Spain, Morocco, and Venezuela, and around the United States. Come and listen as the oldest narrative tradition, storytelling, comes alive in “George McGovern in Mrs. Oasa’s Bedroom” and “The Night Eddie Ford Drove Me Home,” two tales in Altano’s fascinating, irreverent, and moving repertoire. The stories are accompanied by the ironic, twisted, and hilarious artwork of Agent B. | |
