ITV Facilities Interactive Television is rapidly becoming a key element in instuctional delivery at Bergen Community College! Key Benefits: One instructor can teach students in several sites at the same time. Classes that have been cancelled in the past for lack of enrollment can now be conducted because of the pooled student body resources available on several campuses! High School students can participate in college level courses -without having to travel to the college campus. Interactive Classrooms Bergen Community College has three interactive television classrooms. The Bergen ITV classroom is currently connected to a network of over twenty-five high schools and colleges in Northern New Jersey via a fiber optic network. The NJIN ITV classroom is part of a consortia of thirty-nine colleges in the State of New Jersey utilizing ISDN phone lines for connectivity, and the NJ Edge classroom utilizes Video-over-IP technology in our latest state of the art room..
