The EBC TV Studio
The EBC TV Studio has evolved over the years into one of the finest in the region!
This facility provides for registered students to use in their coursework:
- A Studio Production Facility
- Remote Production Equipment
- Post-Production Systems
The studio itself is a three camera facility featuring Hitachi FP-2010 cameras, a Grass Valley 1200 series video switcher, a Grass Valley Profile XP digital video server, a Sony MXP-390 audio mixer, teleprompter, and a Chyron PC Scribe character character generator.
Several Sony Digi-8 camcorders are available for students to use in producing remote segments.
Post-Production capabilities include on-line editing utilizing the Sony BVE-2000 Editing Control Unit for interformat editing (DVCAM, S-VHS). A Sony DME-450 Digital Multi-Effects Generator is an integral part of this system. Off-line editing systems include twemty Macintosh G4 Editing systems with DVD burining capability and utilizing Final Cut Pro. A Casablanca KRON digital editing system is utilized by the Media Club for the production of their programming.
