TV Production
COM-106 Television Production is a practical "hands-on" course that is designed to give the students experience in writing, directing, and producing a wide variety of television programs. Students apply theories, principles, and skills of TV and video tape techniques through camera usage, control room operations, and video tape editing.
COM-207 TV Production II is a course that provides the students with an opportunity to refine existing skills through the production of a regularly scheduled public affairs program which is broadcast live over the Internet.. A functional awareness of all factors involved in the production of a series on a regular basis is developed.
COM-208 Directing for Television fine tunes student competencies in the direction and production of short format programs. Proper shot composition, use of effects, timing, and creativity are highlighted through the production of Public Service Announcements.
