Web Services

The Office of Information Technology's Web Services division is dedicated to the goal of consistently improving Bergen Community College's Internet resources to enable them to be even more valuable to the students, faculty, and staff of Bergen Community College, as well as to the educational community, our friends and supporters, the State of New Jersey and the County of Bergen, and the general public.

In partnership with the Office of Public Relations and Creative Services, Web Services is dedicated to providing the highest quality Internet resources to our community at large, and to provide the most satisfying user experience possible. We are affiliated with the College Web Committee and its Design, Content, Usability and Policies & Procedures subcommittees, in the constant pursuit of those goals.

We offer the following services to our Bergen Community College colleagues and partners:

• Web Site technical consultation and advisory services.
• Web Site Analysis and Usability Evaluation.
• Information Architecture design and advisory services, including user and stakeholder interviews.
• Training classes on Web site best practices, usability basics, and the SiteBuilder tool kit for College staff and faculty.
• Development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of the main web site at www.bergen.edu, associated Web sites, and Web applications for the College community.
