Basic Transfer Requirements
- 15 Completed College-level Credits
- 2.5 Overall GPA
- “C” or better in WRT-101 and WRT-201
College of Science & Mathematics
Computer Science
Preferably include MAT-180 (Pre-calculus) and/or MAT-280 (Calculus 1)
with a B grade or better.
College of Education & Human Services
Early & Middle Childhood Education/Teacher Certification
· 2.75 cumulative GPA
Schedule appointment with Transfer Counselor.
Nutrition and Food Science - Dietetics
· 2.50 cumulative GPA
AA.LA.GEN
Include MAT-150, PSY-101 and ECO-101 in your program.
Chemistry is required in the program, but may be taken after admissions to Montclair. CHM 140-141 may be taken at BCC.
School of Business
Business Administration (all concentrations) & Economics
· 2.75 cumulative GPA
· 2.75 GPA in the following four (4) courses:
WRT-101 English Composition I
WRT-201 English Composition II
ECO-101 Macroeconomics OR ECO-201 Microeconomics
MAT-223 Calculus for the Managerial
and Social Sciences OR MAT-280 Calculus
School of the Arts
All School of the Arts Majors(with the exception of Fashion Studies and Art History) must
complete either a portfolio review, interview or audition for admission to MSU
