IP Telephones
Bergen Community College supports the use of Cisco IP telephones throughout its campus network.
New Telephone Features
Folowing the latest upgrade the college Voice over IP telephone system, a number of new features have been made available on all college IP telephones.
| Immediate Divert |
Divert the caller immediately to the voicemail. |
| Multiple calls on a shared line |
Multiple calls can be received and dialed from a shared line. |
| Call Hold and Transfer on a shared line |
Each call on a shared line can be put on hold or transferred without restriction. |
| Direct Transfer |
Allows a user to directly transfer two parties on a line to each other. |
| Call Join |
Allows a phone user to join multiple parties on a line into a conference. |

Calling Rights
The table below defines the four calling rights available for BCC IP telephones.

Able to contact NY, NJ, and CT |

Able to dial Nationwide |

IP Telephone Configuration
To configure your IP telephone,
1. visit http://VOIP.bergen.edu/ccmuser/ from a BCC computer and follow the directions below.

2. Log on with your BCC network password as seen above (The same password used to log into your PC)
