Network Information

Bergen Community College's network consists of a multilayer switched Ethernet LAN with a 6Mbps Internet connection.

CLASSROOMS

BCC classroom PC's will allow unrestricted internet connectivity through dedicated network connections. Windows XP Professional has become the standard desktop environment for BCC computers. For information on PC's and available software refer to the following locations:

Classrooms contain at least one additional network drop for instructional use, allowing connectivity through any 10/100 Ethernet network card. DHCP is available in classrooms for automatic configuration of network connectivity.
