National Education Association (NEA) Foundation Grants
The NEA Foundation supports a variety of efforts by teachers, education support professionals and higher education faculty and staff to improve student learning in the nation's public schools, colleges, and universities.

Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE)
Administers over 40 programs that address critical national needs and supports the Department's mission of increasing access to quality postsecondary education.

FIPSE - Comprehensive Program (Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education
This OPE program is designed to support innovative reform projects that hold promise as models for the resolution of important issues and problems in postsecondary education.

Strengthening Institutions Program (Title III, Part A)
This OPE program assists eligible institutions of higher education to become self-sufficient by providing funds to improve and strengthen their academic quality, and institutional, management, and fiscal stability.

TRIO - Student Support Services

GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs)

Tech Prep Education
Tech Prep education is a significant innovation in the education reform movement in the United States. Tech Prep was given major emphasis in the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied Technology Education Act of 1990 and was amended in the School to Work Opportunities Act of 1994.  Tech Prep is an important school-to-work transition strategy, helping all students make the connection between school and employment.

A federally funded national information system that provides a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues.

New Jersey Department of Education. Office of Grants Management
This office provides information on discretionary and entitlement grant opportunities, both current and anticipated, plus other funding sources and useful links.

New Jersey Commission on Higher Education
A site devoted exclusively to the reporting and status of New Jersey's institutions of higher education.  In addition to grants opportunities, it provides frequently requested statistical tables and New Jersey's long-range plan for higher education.
