World Language Testing

The College awards credit for World Languages through the New York University Proficiency Testing in Foreign Languages Program, and the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). For information on any of these testing options, contact the Office of Testing Services at 201-447-7202, Room S-127.

Advanced Placement

Bergen Community College students may earn college credit through Advanced Placement (AP) examination in Spanish, French and German with a score of 3 or above. Scores must be received directly from the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB).  If you scored a 3, you will receive 6 credits (Elementary I and II). If you score a 4 or a 5, you will receive 12 credits (Elementary I and II, and Intermediate I and II.).
