Third Term Folder

Your marking period folder should include all written assignments for the term, in chronological order; the folder paper outlined below should be the last item.

If any assignments are missing, they should be listed on a separate sheet of paper to begin the order; an honest, straightforward explanation of why any item may be missing is expected.

After compiling and reviewing your work, please address these questions in writing:

1) Are you learning something about yourself as a result of having to write the assignments each week for class?

2) What are you learning about yourself?

3) How have these writing assignments contributed toward this learning?

4) Or if they haven’t, or you are struggling more than learning, what have you nevertheless learned by doing them, despite your frustration, apprehension, and/or bewilderment?

5) Just what have you learned about writing so far this year?

6) Assess your writing performance this term. How did you assess it (scale, standard)? Why?

The paper addressing these questions should be two pages, max., double-spaced, in 12-point Times font, and should appear as the last item in your term folder.
