Visiting Students

A visiting student is someone currently attending another institution/college/university in which they are transferring credits back to.

If you are a returning visiting student (or have taken some classes as a visiting student in the past), you do not need to reapply for admission. For assistance, please report to: Registration Center Room A-129, Pitkin Education Center.

If you will be taking classes as a "Visiting Student (currently attending other institution)” and want to complete courses for transfer to a four-year college, you will need a Visiting Student Permission Form (with required signatures). This form can be found on the Registration Forms page.

Transfer Students

A transfer student is a college graduate or applicant with some college education looking to apply previously-earned credits towards a degree program at Bergen Community College.

If you will be taking classes as a "Transfer Student (with previous college credit earned)” and wants to transfer to BCC completed courses from another institution, you must first apply for admission as degree-seeking student. Once admitted, please visit the Transcripts page for more details on sending transcripts.
