Welcome to The Center for Health, Wellness & Personal Counseling! We are committed to serving the needs of the “whole” student. It is our conviction each individual’s physical and mental health is essential for academic achievement and personal growth. Our licensed staff is here to assist students in achieving their health and wellness goals, enabling students to make lifestyle choices that help them achieve optimal physical, emotional and behavioral well-being. All of our services are provided in a culturally sensitive, accessible and confidential environment. The experienced staff of our center is here to help, whether the need is for medical care, mental health counseling or to create a personal wellness plan.

We will assist you with campus and community-based referrals, as well as with print and Online Health-Related Resources.

The Wellness Center and Personal Counseling host numerous on-campus workshops and programs throughout each academic year. Recent offerings include anger management, depression screening, strategies for stress management, smoking cessation, substance abuse, nutrition topics, violence awareness, meditation, mental health stigma, among others. Our Wellness Center also hosts programs on a broad range of mind/body issues. These presentations are open to our campus community and to the public.

Emergency Personal Counseling visits are on a walk-in basis, room HS-100.
