Datatel Colleague Programmer
 
The Datatel Colleague Programmer position is responsible for providing critical day-to-day support and administration of Datatel Colleague, the college-wide administrative system, to the college community; providing custom software development using Colleague Studio and various reporting tools; maintaining required programming standards and processes; and testing and documenting these processes.  The Datatel Programmer is responsible for problem solving, including analyzing the problem, determining the optimal solution, testing and producing documentation; other duties as assigned.
 
Required:  Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Computer Information Systems or a related technical field is required.  Must have experience in and knowledge of Microsoft SQL and query tools.  Excellent problem solving skills required.  Experience in and knowledge of Datatel Colleague and Microsoft operating systems a plus.  Ability to learn new programming and reporting tools.  Ability to work independently and as a team member.  Excellent interpersonal, customer service and oral and written communication skills.  Must be able to work with a diverse population.
