Grant-funded positions
 
Bergen Community College, the third largest college in New Jersey, serving a diverse student body on its suburban campus, has three Grant-funded Counselor positions available.  The Counselors will be responsible for evaluating the needs of students, offering recommendations, and reviewing educational services in the areas of Health Professions, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and/or Title V (Developmental Math and English Basic Skills); will collaborate in the creation of educational/career development plans to support the student’s career and academic goals.
 
Required:  Master’s Degree in Student Personnel Administration, Counselor Education, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation or other related areas required; three to five years counseling experience in higher education. Excellent communication and computer skills. Knowledge of Datatel and bilingual a plus.
