This site provides brief capsules of information on issues affecting contemporary Africa. Read and explore. Links can help you pursue further study. What you learn about Africa can become the basis of exciting essays and important term papers.  You can investigate issues of substance – of life and death significance – and share your findings, thus stimulating the interests of others. In a world where “reality” has become entertainment shows on television, you can encounter a true challenging reality.

With your idealism and desire to do things that matter, you can take steps to improve the conditions in Africa. You may wish to study a particular issue in greater detail to increase your understanding. You may wish to work short-time with an international relief agency.
