Electronic Reserves: If you would like to place supplemental course materials on e-reserve, please send materials to Yumi Pak in the Library, or bring them to the Service Desk. E-mail electronic materials to ereserve@bergen.edu. Submissions must include the following information: · your name and contact information; · the course number and section; · complete citation for the article or chapter; · what you would like the document to be called in the e-reserve record; · a password you would like your students to use to access the document.
We remove items from e-reserve at the end of each semester. If you want your materials to remain on e-reserve in the next semester, please contact us at ereserve@bergen.edu . To learn more about e-reserves, please see our web site: http://www.bergen.edu/library/ereserve
Textbook Reserves: The Library purchases most of the textbooks used in BCC courses for its reserve collection at the Service Desk. However, textbooks that are late additions to the bookstore list may not make it to our shelves in time. To make sure that the Library owns a copy of the textbook used in your course, check our online catalog at: http://www.bergen.edu/library . If you do not see your course textbook, or if you would like to make sure it is linked to your name in the online catalog, please send the information to reserves@bergen.edu. Also, consider placing your personal copy of a book on “Teacher Reserve”. To have an item placed on Teacher Reserve, bring your copy to the Service Desk. We return Teacher Reserve items to you at the end of the semester, or earlier upon your request.
Media Reserves If you plan to use any media items in your course, please contact the Library to make sure it is placed on reserve. Please stop at the Service Desk or Media Services Desk, or send the information to your department’s library liaison. |
