Grades !!!!!

Since many students are interested in grades, rightfully so, to help you decide on continuing in my class, below is the history of how students do in my class. When you read the class policy, outline, syllabus, and other administrative documents, hopefully you will get a clear understanding of:

With respect the the grade history, I do not force the grades to come out this way. Whatever the students in the class earn, that is what they get. This history represents almost 5 years and classes do vary.

You will notice that about 1 out of 4 get a D or fail. The reason for this is that these individuals do not follow what I cover in the administrative documents and therefore try to test what I will and will not allow. As I communicate in these documents, particularly the one stating how to get a good grade in my class, if you do the work, show up, and not try to manipulate me, you will do fine. The 1 out of 4 mentioned above, wake up to this too late – near the end of the semester. Those that follow my guidelines, they do very well in the class, not quite half of the class get a B or better with 18 % get an A.

Its up to you where you want to wind up in this class. Do the work and you will be fine !!!!
