Welcome !!!!! Please take the time to read this introduction as well as the course material online using Moodle. My courses are College Business courses and are actually run like a business.
Do
not make the mistake of taking one of
my courses without a clear understanding of my expectations, policy, and
class rules - all shown below. You will find I am very fair - but strictly
firm -regarding adherence to these items.
Since you have signed up for one of my classes (whether face-to-face or
online),
please note that all my classes are taught using the New Moodle
Learning Management System – the
web enhanced
program within BCC’s network. See below how to log on if you are new.
If you want to satisfactorily complete one of my courses, you need to become fully proficient on this platform. It really is simple and easy.
You will be expected to log on regularly (several
times/week) for: · Class
Announcements · Class Calendar
and Schedules · Online Tests · Emails to/from
myself and other students · And additional
other tools to make the course a more productive and enjoyable learning
experience (acrobat, Power Point readers, QT movie players, etc.)

Please
note that Moodle is not Webadvisor !
The password BCC has assigned is different.
The instructions for your user name and password are shown in the link in
the table above.
You will also be required to have on your computer (or
regularly use the library computers) for spreadsheet and word document programs
to help you in class.
Once you logon to your course on Moodle,
make sure you read all the Administrative Documents: Policy, Outline, and other
course material! Then take the
short quiz that acknowledges you understand what is expected. Students who fail to take this acknowledgement quiz within
the first ten days of the semester, will be removed
from the class.
