During the 2009FA semester, I will be teaching PHR 101 Introduction to Philosophy, PHR 120
Introduction to Religion (on-line), and PHR 103 Basic Logic (on-line and in a hybrid format).
You probably know what on-line means, but you may not be familiar with the hybrid format. In a
hybrid course, at least one meeting time each week is replaced in its entirety with an on-line
component. For, for instance, my logic course usually meets twice a week. When I teach it in a
hybrid format, we meet only once a week in a traditional classroom. An on-line component
replaces the other class meeting. Hybrid formats are handy options for students wishing to
combine both an on-line experience with the traditional classroom.
To register for any of these courses, please go to
WebAdvisor and search under the fall semester
and under my name.
Below you will find my student guides for the fall semester. Please note, though, that they may not
be in their final form.
