Produce a Public Affairs Program for "Bergen Outlook" - a program now available live to a worldwide audience via the Internet!

COM-101-099WB Mass Media of Communication
(Approved BCC General Education course)

On Line WebCT course:
This course is a study of the print and broadcast media. The roles of media in society, a history of media, and the legal control of media are explored.
3 lectures, 3 credits

COM-111-099WB Video Post-Production

On Line WebCT course:
This is a hands-on course designed to train students in advanced post-production techniques utilizing non-linear computer based editing. Audio sweetening, computer graphics, and animation will be discussed.
3 credits
Prerequisite: None

Minimum requirements for this course:

Students should have the following “minimum” applications installed on their home computers.


For Macintosh platforms:
iMovie

For P.C. platforms:
Windows Movie Maker

It will also be necessary for students to have the ability to transfer video sources (cameras, tapes and or DVD) to their computer.
