The NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma will be launching a PSA contest in 2008, sending out a formal call for entries in January of 08'. This contest will be used as a class project for COM-208-001 Directing for TV, meeting Wednesday 09:10AM - 12:20PM, West Hall, Room W-110.
Students from colleges and universities throughout the state are being invited to participate in the Council’s 2007 PSA Contest. The NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma will be asking for both 30 and 60 second PSA's that frame the issue of mental health stigma, while branding their mission.
According to Celina Gray, Executive Director of the NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma, “This presents an extraordinary opportunity for a collaboration that will energize the council's mission, while offering your students a vehicle through which they can showcase their talent...we held a logo contest last year and Bergen County Community College student Donna Peterson was one of our 2 runners up. “
If you want to take part in this you need to sign up for COM-208-001 Directing for TV, Wednesday 09:10AM - 12:20PM, West Hall, Room W-110.
If you do not have the prerequisite contact me via email and I will send you a waiver to get in to this class.
