WRT 101 Comp I is intended to enhance your reading, writing and critical thinking skills through extensive practice in expository writing. The course emphasizes the writing process, and concentrates on the organization and development of ideas in written work, and on student responses to reading. I devote a good deal of attention to correct language usage and on research and the basic techniques of MLA documentation. With any luck, you'll also actually enjoy some of the texts that I have chosen for this course.
