B.A. Barnard College (Political Science/ French major,) Columbia University; M.A. Middlebury College Graduate School of French in France; M.Phil., A.B.D., New York University (thesis on the epic elements in the nineteeth century French serial novels of Eugene Sue); M.A. Montclair State University in English (thesis on the influence of Frantz Fanon on Jean Genet.) Certified reflexologist.

Contributing author of two 2002 custom edition French texts:  Objectif France with Le Bloc-notes  du Professeur Robins (John Wiley and Sons,) and Decouverte et creation with Le Bloc-notes 2 du Professeur Robins (Houghton Mifflin.)

Research Interests

19th Century French literature, Medieval French literature, Native American nations, message and other holistic therapies.

Major Contributions to Bergen Community College as Founding Faculty member.

Producer and creator of six Native American Day Celebrations 1996 - 2001. Sponsor of the Francophonic Student Association (French Lovers' Club) for decades and of the Native American Awareness Club for five years.  Multiple events producer: French Language Weeks; European and other foreign Film Series; memorials for Rita Koors.
