One of my favorite quotes is from Thomas Edison, “Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration.”  I truly believe that any student can be successful in class and in life.  It does however take effort, determination and perseverance.  I enjoy helping students see the relationship between accounting and their personal lives and exposing them to the many interesting, varied and lucrative careers in accounting.

“Don’t let life happen to you, make it happen for you.”

Our energy, time and financial resources are limited and valuable.  Don’t waste them.  Live a conscious life and whatever you choose to accomplish should be given your full resolve.  You are in charge of you!

Accounting Courses:
– ACC110 Financial Accounting

– ACC210 Managerial Accounting

– ACC202 Intermediate Accounting

Educational Interests:

– Teaching Financial Accounting – my first accounting professor convinced me that I should major in accounting and I appreciate being able to do the same for students.

– Writing textbook materials for Financial Accounting – accounting is logical and is based upon a consistent set of principles, concepts and assumptions.  I enjoy finding new ways to make the material understandable, interesting and relevant to students.
