      Search by subject  to find books about your author  or
      Search by  keyword  (eg. Aeschylus and criticism)

To Find Articles (and other resources)*

      The  Literature Resource Center (Gale) is an online source of  biographical and critical information from various books and journal articles.

      The Gale Literary Index  provides access to criticism from many sources collected in several series of reference books owned by the Sidney Silverman Library. Some of this material is available online in the Literature Resource Center (above).  Criticism on most of the earliest works is in the series Classical and Medieval Literature Criticism,  call number  Ref. PN 610 .C53 and located on the main floor of the Library

      JSTOR: Language & Literature  is a small database of literary criticism. 

      Of the "Frequently Used Databases" (general periodical databases),  Academic Search Premier  and  Proquest Research Library  index the most literary journals..  Use one or two keywords to begin with and if you use keywords that would not be next to each other, use “and” between them, eg. Genesis and creation.
