The Coordinator supports the discipline in several ways:
- Supervision and hiring recommendations for Adjunct faculty
- Scheduling of classes, rooms, and Information Technology faculty
- Interfacing with OIT (the computer help desk) for lab problems
- Advising students
- Working with faculty to create a 3-5 year plan for the discipline
