Help Desk

Client Services is the central agency that supports enterprise-wide computing on campus. Client Services provides end user technology support via telephone, online, or at walk-in locations across campus. We are the front door that connects users to Information Technology Services (ITS) to a full spectrum of help and support resources.

Our office is located in the L-Wing adjacent to the Office of Public Safety. Our semester office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. You can contact us at 201-447-7109 or email us at helpdesk@bergen.edu.

At the Help Desk we can solve many of the common problems students may have on the Bergen Community College campus. We are here to help you access your student or faculty email and my.bergen.edu Portal account, just to name a few. We have a knowledgeable staff that can help you with Microsoft Office software and can help you to sign into a variety of websites that our faculty use in their classes.

The Help Desk can help with:

  • Faculty and Student email access
  • My.bergen.edu Portal access and password resets
  • Voicemail and Telephone system
  • Active Directory and access to Network Shared drives
  • Moodle access and password resets
  • Colleague and WebAdvisor in the Portal access and usage
  • Navigating Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010
  • Wi-Fi, Firewall and Internet Access issues

The Help Desk is the quickest and easiest way to get help from Client Services. Many issues can be handled over the phone and those that cannot, will quickly be routed to the appropriate resource.

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am to 10:00pm
  • Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • Sunday Closed
