Grants.gov is the single access point for over 900 grant programs. The site allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive funding opportunities from the 26 Federal grant-making agencies.

It is well worth checking the funding opportunities and Resources specifically for Two-Year Colleges.New issues of this valuable reportare posted online on about the 15th each month.

Foundation Directory Online(available to BCC personnel only)
Contact the Grants Office to search this comprehensive directoryof more than 70,000 foundation grantmakers and over 200,000 grants, with searchable IRS 990 forms for each as well as links to free web resources. This is another awesome resource for BCC faculty and staff.

Foundation Center(portal)
Provides outstanding: tools, resources, "short course" in grant writing, and links to private foundations. (See also Foundation Directory Online and RFP Bulletin, below)

RFP Bulletin
This Foundation Center service provides brief overviews of current funding opportunities offered by foundations or other grantmaking organizations. Keyword-searchable and organized by category.

Foundations On-Line
Excellent site, sponsored by the Northern California Community Foundation,providing links to most major foundations.

GuideStar
GuideStar, the national database of U.S. charitable organizations, provides data including financials, Form 990 and website on more than 850,000 IRS-recognized nonprofits.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy
Major news source, in print and online, for people involved in the philanthropic enterprise. Available online at campus library.

The Chronicle of Higher Education
Major source of news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty members and administrators. Available in print and online at campus library.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
This website provides access to a database of all Federal assistance programs, including grants, available to state and local governments; profit- & non-profit organizations; institutions; specialized groups; and individuals. Updated biweekly.

Federal Grants Wire
Federal Grants Wire is a free resource for federal grants, government grants and loans. It currently offers over 1800 federal grants and loans organized by sponsoring agency, applicant type, subject area and a convenient directory if you are unsure which option is for you.

Federal Register 
Official daily publication of rules and notices, including grants announcements, for federal agencies and organizations. Updates the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance. Can also be accessed via The Grantsmanship Centerat www.tgci.com.

GPO Access
U.S. Government Printing Office website provides free electronic access to a wealth of information products (official versions) produced by the federal govt., including the Federal Register, Congressional Record, Congressional Bills, and more.

Library of Congress
LOC, the nation's oldest federal cultural institution, preserves a collection of nearly 121 million items. As well as serving the research needs of the U.S. Congress, the LOC has extensive resources available in all languages, topics and types of materials.

Fast access to population, housing, economic and geographic data on the federal government, states, and communities.

New Jersey: The Official State of New Jersey Website
Fast and easy access to state as well as federal and local government information and services.

The League of Women Voters of New Jersey
Its "Guide to Government"provides contact information for all NJ State & Federal elected officials; NJ Legislative & Congressional district listings; and County & Municipal government information.

Bergen County At A Glance
County Dept. of Planning & Economic Development provides census information on general demographic characteristics, projections, housing data, income data,economic data, education, committing patterns, etc.

American Council on Education

American Association for Higher Education

Association for Career and Technical Education 
Largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers.

Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)  
Headquartered in Washington, DC, with a European office in London, CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development.
