Respondus Lockdown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser creates a locked testing environment where students are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked into it until they submit it for grading.

How can I get started with it?

The Instructor quick start guide explains how to set up a test in a WebCT course. You can enable this option from a WebCT course. A tutorial on how to enable Respondus LockDown Browser for a quiz is available at http://www.respondus.com/demos/LDB_Vista4.htm. You can also register for a 45 minute webinar to learn more about this browser at http://www.respondus.com/products/lockdown-browser/demos.shtml.

Where is it available?

The option to use Respondus Lock Down Browser for secure testing is available in the academic labs and the office of Specialized Services.
