Title: Enrollment Specialist, Admissions

Description:

The Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for on/off campus, and domestic and international admissions and recruiting activities and providing routine registration services to students including general admissions counseling, evaluating academic credentials, and validating admissions records including SEVIS/F1 student records.

Qualifications:

Required:  Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with a minimum of 25 additional college credits. 1-2 years of Higher Education, Public Relations or Marketing experience.  Must have strong data entry and keyboarding skills in addition to excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Database, automated and web-based student information/admissions systems experience, preferably Datatel’s Colleague is preferred. Must possess public speaking and presentation skills in addition to a strong level of organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; must be driven to provide excellent customer service with ability to work with a diverse population; ability to work in a fast-paced environment doing multiple tasks and projects; detail oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently and as a team in a collaborative manner; must have excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with ability to exercise good judgment, as well as, ability to understand and follow established protocols.  Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and ability to travel abroad. Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive in New Jersey and must have own transportation; ability to lift boxes and materials required in loading and transporting of admissions materials, displays and other equipment.
