English Skills
This course is a one semester developmental skills course designed to improve fundamental academic skills in the areas of reading, writing, and study skills. Class instruction emphasizes inferential and critical reading, paragraph organization and development, and vocabulary development through reading activities. Opportunities for word processing and individualized instruction in grammar, mechanics, and punctuation are provided. Successful completion of this course permits enrollment in English Composition I. This course requires concurrent enrollment in EBS-024 English Skills Practicum.  3 lectures,3 non-degree credits
