The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program has been fully accredited since 1990. The program is regionalized utilizing various hospitals throughout New Jersey and New York for the clinical education of the program. The program utilizes thirty-three clinical educational centers that focus on specialty areas in Ob/Gyn, Abdominal and Echocardiography. The program is accredited in these three areas, and students are eligible to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (A.R.D.M.S.) exam upon completion of the program. All students are required to complete all three specialties to be eligible for an Associate Applied Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
