Copy Cards

Photocopiers accept copy cards only-no coins or cash.

Purchasing a Copy Card

Copy cards are available for purchase in the Copy Room. To purchase a card, insert a $1 bill into the dispenser. To obtain a receipt, press the receipt button in the upper left corner. The copy card dispensers do not take coins or make change. A new copy card has a value of 50 cents because the cost of the card (50 cents) is automatically deducted. Do not throw away used copy cards. Copy cards can be re-used from semester to semester.

The Library is unable to provide change. Please come to campus prepared. The copy card dispensers take bills only, NO COINS.

Adding Money to a Copy Card

To add value to your copy card, insert your copy card into the card machine’s upper slot. Then insert bills into the card machine’s lower slot. When adding value to your card, the machine accepts $1, $2, $5, $10, or $20 bills. We recommend that you do not put more than $5 on your card at a time. IMPORTANT: The copy card dispenser does not give or make change.

Using the Copy Card

To make copies, insert the copy card into the card reader at the photocopier. The card reader will show how much money is on the copy card. The cost of the copies will be deducted from the card as the copies are made. Please note: The photocopiers do not accept copy cards purchased at other libraries.

Reporting Problems

Problems concerning the photocopiers and card dispensers should be reported to the Service Desk immediately.
