The Academic early system is designed to promote student success and retention by identifying students who are at risk and who are experiencing difficulties.

This system identifies students through faculty referrals.
Based on the faculty members concern, students will either be routed through Cerullo Learning Assistance Center (CLAC) or the Center for Student Success.
Tutors or counselors are assigned individual cases and reach out to the students through various forms of communication.

You should use the system to report academic issues, including attendance issues, lack of participation, missing/incomplete homework or assignments, and poor tests or grades.

Notes:

  1. Do not use this early alert/pipeline to report any behavior issues. Refer these situations to the Behavior Intervention Team.
  2. Faculty who are concerned about academic issues only; use the following link to submit a case: Early Alert Referral Form.
