Additional Transcript Information

  • There is a $5 fee per transcript; however, the students will receive the first three at no cost. Refund policy is in place for students who pay for the first three official transcripts. Transcript Fee Refund Form
  • Same-day Service is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; requests must be received by 10:00am and picked up after 3:00pm the same day (an additional $5.00 per copy).
  • Express Service is available for an additional $5.00 per copy, the student must provide pre-paid Priority/Express Mail, FEDEX or UPS envelope.
  • BCC does not accept requests for transcripts via Fax or e-mail.
  • Only the student may order or pick up transcripts. An exception is made if an individual provides written and signed permission from the student. Transcripts that are not picked up within 15 days will be destroyed and a new request and payment will be required.
  • Photo ID must be presented to pick up transcripts.
  • The request will not be processed if not signed, is illegible or if there is insufficient information.
  • A hold on the student’s record will prevent transcript production. The student is responsible for contacting the office that placed the hold to resolve it. Once the hold is resolved by the student, the transcript will be processed the following working day. We will notify the student via mail indicating that the request was not processed.
  • Requests for current transcripts take 5 working days to process from the date the request is received, except during peak registration and end of semester periods which can take 5 to 7 working days.
  • For after current semester grades and after degree is posted transcript requests, please allow 7 to 10 working days from the official end of semester to ensure that all grades and degree have been posted, before the transcript is produced.
  • A new request form must be submitted if any information needs to be changed on the original request, once the transcript has been produced.
  • To send transcripts internationally/overseas the student must provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Transcript Office.
  • BCC does not fax, scan or e-mail transcripts to other destinations.

Current/After Current Semester Grades and/or After Degree Is Posted

On the Official Transcript Request Form, students are given three options as to when a transcript should be processed. You may request current transcript, which shows the courses completed and grades posted, at the time transcript is requested. In other words, if you are enrolled in courses, and request an official transcript mid-semester, the transcript will not show currently enrolled courses or grades for those courses. The other options are after current semester grades and after degree is posted, these transcripts should be requested at the end of the semester to ensure that all grades/degree have been processed and posted.
