ART
Children use a wide variety of media to express themselves creatively.

WOOD WORKING TABLE
The children use safety equipment and with adult supervision, create artistic as well as useful items.

SCIENCE CENTER
Includes our Bird Watching window, Plant and Aquarium care a microscope and hands- on activities planned according to our curriculum.

BLOCK AREA
A place to build, work cooperatively and use problem-solving skills.

MATH CENTER
Math activities include matching, classifying, patterning, sorting counting and board games to foster math as well as cooperation skills.

MANIPULATIVE CENTER
Includes puzzles and small motor skill activities.

SENSORY TABLES
We use a variety of wet and dry materials to sift, pour, measure, and weigh.

HOUSEKEEPING/DRAMATIC PLAY
This center changes with our monthly themes. We may be launching a space shuttle to the moon, creating a Native American village or exploring a tropical rainforest!

LANGUAGE ARTS 
Books reflect our monthly theme. Listening books are also available according to learning units. Show and Tell provides opportunities for children to speak in front of a group. Dictation enables children to make the connection between the spoken and written word. Emergent writing skills are always encouraged.

MUSIC
We sing songs and listen to a wide variety of multi cultural music and nature sounds.

MOVEMENT
Movement experiences foster creativity and hone gross motor skills.

COMPUTERS
Introduce children to technology and foster a wide variety of skills in all areas of the curriculum.
