Prof. Lindquist has taught Intro to Art and Culture, History of Visual Art and Culture, 1400-1900, History of Photography and Drawing Fundamentals at Bergen since 2011. He has also taught at Pratt Institute, Parsons/The New School, and MoMA.

Prof. Lindquist is a New York-based artist and writer. He has exhibited in New York at Elizabeth Harris Gallery (2008-12), Y Gallery (2012), and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (2009). His work has also been exhibited at University of Arizona Museum of Art (2012), Weatherspoon Art Museum (2012), Rutgers University (2010).

Prof. Lindquist’s work has been featured in Art in America, ARTnews, Sculpture, Bomb Magazine, The New York Sun among others.  His writing has appeared in art publications, including Art in America, ARTnews, Arte Al Dia,, The Brooklyn Rail, Modern Painters. He is also an editor at The Brooklyn Rail. He is the recipient of The Pollock-Krasner Award (2009), ArtOMI residency (2009), Sally and Milton Avery Foundation Grant (2009) and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Space Program (2013).
